Vincenzo Torcasio is the principal and founder of Aqua-Scapes LLC.  based in Danbury CT. A design/build firm, established in 1997. Licensed in Connecticut, Westchester County N.Y., East Hampton L.I., and Fishers Island N.Y., and regularly travels to meet the client’s request. After working for his family operated business for over 12 years, Vincenzo recognized his desire to surpass the conventional ways of building and the designing of aquascapes.  Vincenzo has been fortunate enough to work for some amazing old-world European craftsmen during his working days with his family’s business soaking up their knowledge and work ethic.
He can remember his father taking him to work with him as early as age 9 mixing cement, tying rebar, and installing stone. By the age of 16, he was designing aquascapes that at the time were unheard of. After high school, Vincenzo went to work at his family’s business where he continued to learn all phases of the business. His work has been seen in Architectual Digest, Pool and Spa News online, Garden Design Magazine, At Home magazine, Stone World magazine, Metropolian Home Magazine, New York Magazine and countless local newspapers. Aqua-Scapes LLC. was a nominee for the 2011 “Master of Design Award”.  His primary source of advertising has always been  the many overwhelmed  clients that refer him year after year.  After more than 26 years in the business, Vincenzo still continues to work hands-on daily, whether it be in construction, selling, or designing;  giving every project his own personal touch. “I soon realized I had the natural ability to construct and design what others could not imagine.  I  call it the ‘wooow!’  factor. Its when the unexpected see your pool and emotionally mumble the word ‘wooow!’.  That’s what I build.  I build ‘woow!’ ”
